The global need for electricity increases and so does the expectation for clean and reliable power by integrating renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, in the grid. One of the major challenges is that renewable energy production can be unpredictable, making grid operators hesitant to become dependent on elements they cannot control.
In parallel, networks are ageing and become more decentralized, less efficient and more congested as the energy passing through the lines increases with the energy demand. Innovative ways are needed for improving the grid’s flexibility, reliability and efficiency.

The MegaWatt control with C-Bee
We are specialists in building the perfect blocks for a safe and fully reliable MegaWatt energy storage system. Our flexible and highly configurable C-Bee power stacks controller platform allows multiple hardware and software configurations with the following key features:
- Simultaneously operates a breaking resistor and/or an energy storage set of batteries or supercaps
- Optical or electrical control of the power stack
- Parallel operation of several units
- Current limitations in boost and buck modes and for both the breaking resistor and the energy storage
- External or internal start command and operation capabilities
- External or internal references for different modes of operation
- Additional I/O for system integration can be programmed based on customer requirement
Using the ZekaTrace™ and ZekaStream™ technology, you will be able to display the electrical characteristics and diagnose the health of the system with an unprecedented resolution for the industry. Only one such converter in your design is enough to change the way you commission the whole power plant.
Having numerous communication interfaces including Ethernet, RS485 and CANBus and utilizing Modbus, makes the integration with your industrial network an easy task. Profibus interface is also available using a Modbus-to-PROFIBUS Gateway. The integrated Modbus master allows different Modbus slaves to be attached to extend IO and functionality.
